1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SendBill.net (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SendBill.net is a comprehensive billing and invoicing platform designed for freelancers, agencies, and businesses of all sizes. The Service provides the following core functionality:

• Creation and management of professional invoices with customizable templates
• Generation of estimates and quotes that can be converted into invoices
• Client relationship management including contact details, billing history, and communication records
• Multi-currency support with over 50 currencies for international billing
• Integration with payment gateways including Stripe, PayPal, JazzCash, Easypaisa, and PayPak
• OTP-based client verification through SMS providers
• Subscription and recurring billing management
• Self-hosted deployment option for businesses requiring on-premise data control

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that may affect their use of the Service.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password
• All activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized them
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
• Ensuring that your account information remains accurate and up to date

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, or that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

SendBill.net offers various subscription plans, including a free tier with limited features and premium plans with expanded capabilities. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you select (monthly or annually)
• You authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the applicable subscription fees
• Subscription renewals occur automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period
• Refunds for partial billing periods are generally not provided unless required by applicable law
• We may adjust pricing for subscription plans with at least 30 days' advance notice; continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing
• Downgrading your plan may result in loss of access to certain features or data associated with premium functionality

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent invoices or engage in deceptive billing practices
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or any part of the Service infrastructure
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Service
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or phishing messages to clients or third parties
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service (scraping) without our prior consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying systems
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization while using the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is owned by SendBill.net and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks, service marks, and logos may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all content, data, and materials that you upload, submit, or create through the Service, including invoices, estimates, client information, and business data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and business information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

For users who choose the self-hosted deployment option, you are solely responsible for the security and backup of your data stored on your own servers. We are not liable for any data loss, breach, or unauthorized access that occurs on self-hosted installations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SendBill.net and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including breach of contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion option in your settings. Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the Service will cease immediately
• We may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which it will be permanently deleted
• Any outstanding fees owed prior to termination remain due and payable
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that we deem harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, business practices, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice through email or an in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and terminate your account.
